TRANSMONTANUS
The white sturgeon or Acipenser Transmontanus is the third largest sturgeon species, after the Beluga and the Kaluga. This sturgeon can reach a maximum size of 6.1 m and weigh up to 816. The white sturgeon is a Pacific Ocean native to the North American west coast, from Alaska to Southern California. The sturgeon lives at the bottom of slow-moving rivers, bays and estuaries, including the brackish water at the mouths of major rivers. It is one of the longest living sturgeons that can live up to a hundred years old.
